Liquid Cooling  . The cooling system circulates fluid through pipes and engine passageways to remove heat from the engine block. Hot liquid passes through the radiator and cools when it comes into contact with the radiator walls. The radiator exchanges this heat with the atmosphere, and the cold fluid returns to the engine passageways.

Air Cooling  .  Instead of fluid circulating in the engine, the engine block is covered with aluminum fins that divert heat away from the cylinder. A powerful fan cools the engine by pushing air over these fins, transferring heat to the air.
